Our Jasmine Green Tea is a celebration of patience and botanical purity. We start with a base of Spring-Harvested Green Tea from the Fujian province, known for its soft, buttery mouthfeel and low astringency.
The scenting process is a nocturnal ritual. Freshly picked Jasmine Sambac buds are layered with the dry tea leaves as they begin to open at night. Over several repetitions, the tea leaves naturally absorb the essential oils of the blossoms, resulting in a deep, integrated fragrance that won’t dissipate after the first steep. The final brew is a pale, golden-green liquor with a silky body and sweet floral notes, finishing with a clean, refreshing hint of toasted rice. It is the perfect restorative companion to our citrus-based tarts.
